Melissa AuClair

Growing up, the kitchen was full of family, learning and laughter. I spent hours at mom’s elbow learning how to cook or at Grandma’s, helping her bake cookies.

But that era has changed.  We spend less time in the kitchen.  We spend less time with the people we care most about. In fact, according to one US study by the Labor Bureau, moms only spend 36 minutes with interactive time with their children!

But it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, a quiet resistance is rising, calling out for a return to home roots, good cooking and healthy and nurturing relationship groups between family, neighbors and friends.

My passion is to connect family and friends back together through the art of cooking and baking together in the kitchen. Natural ingredients. Nurturing relationships. Lots of laughter and rich conversation.
